Good morning! So every once in a while, a computer on the network gets infected because some dumb user wasn't paying attention to what they were clicking, it FLOODS the mail queue with Spam, and then we get Blacklisted.. and if you've ever been blacklisted, you know how much of a pain in the butt it is to get off!!! Do you know of any solutions to stop Outgoing spam? It seems most solutions are for inbound only, and the only solution I've seen is the Symantec Mail appliance.. Thanks in advance =)

Hey, I'm rather new to the whole server - experience and I'm searching for some things... I would like that the My Documents - files are synchronized when the user log on/off. I suspect that could be done with GPO's? Do I have to manually create a folder in the shared folder on my server each time I create a new user. And do I have to set permissions for that user each time? I can't figure this whole thing out! Somebody can help me? Thanks!

Hi @ all. i have an HP DL 380 G6 Server (Windows Server 2007 Standard SP2 Intel XEON CPU X5560 @ 2.80 GHz (2 processors), 4GB RAM ,32bit) which has the following problem. I can not copy large files (e.g 2-5G).It stuck on the 'calculating' process. If i press the cancel button, my PC also stuck and i have to reboot it. This problems appears at his local hard disk (NTFS/RAID 5) and at another one which points with an iSCSI in an EMC Clarion CX120. The strange thing is that it was working well for a long time and it first came up when we disabled the iSCSI connection due Test Purposes. When we enabled it back, we came across with that situation. It is not …

I need to stop a specific user from becoming affected by the password complexity requirments of the default domain policy - I know I could put them into a seperate OU, but that isn't a viable option. Is there any way that you guys know of that would allow the rest of the policy to effect them but not the password section? Thanks in advance R Green

Hi Guys, I am having this issue with UAC on a windows server 2008 workgroup servers. I am trying to access administrative shares on this workgroup machines but it won't allow me although I am already in an admin group. I know this is caused by UAC since the administrator built-in ID works.I have this following questions needed for help 1) How come UAC blocks workgroup servers but not those joined domain? Even if our DC is Windows Server 2008, should the UAC be blocking those Windows 2008 servers parked under this Domain Controller? Apparently Windows 2008 domain servers are working fine accessing the administrative shares. 2) By default, when Microsoft commission…

Greetings community, We are pleased to announce the release of phpBB "Bertie's off to the beach" 3.0.9. This version is a maintenance release fixing a number of bugs as well as adding some minor new features. It contains two new caching backends: WinCache for Windows servers and a Redis backend. I have updated one (1) of three (3) Active Directory servers to 2008 from 2003 with hardly any problems or glitches. (The other (2) AD server will be updates in the next week or so.) One of the problems that I am experiencing is that the domain computers at the (3) sites are not showing up in Network Places. All the domain computers show at their sites, but nowhere else. In other words Site-1 domain computers can be seen, but not Site-2. Site-2 cannot see Site-1 or Site-3 etc. Is there a setting to allow the entire domain computer to been seen across the board. This problem did not exist till I went from 2003 AD to 2008 AD at Site-1.

Link Building is a essential part of any SEO plan to boost your website position on Google, Bing, Yahoo. Effective link Building starts by understanding what links are the most effective and which ones are the least effective. 1) Avoid Purchasing Links: Google knows the difference between links that are bought and links that are earned and Google wants you to earn your links, Link Buying vs Link Building. There is an important exception; purchasing a link for a highly relevant site with a high Google Ranking (or Page Rank) of 5, 6, or 7 works but only if you are willing to pay hundreds of dollars every month for just that one link. Google will not give you credit for t…
