The sources subscribe to the collector by GPO. It worked fine untill 6 months ago. I manage this environment the last month. The previous system engineer who managed this environment is gone allready. 6 of the 172 computers have a Active subscription. The others are inactive. Hello everyone anyone have any idea how to solve this problem? http://img138.imageshack.us/i/immaginepio.jpg/ Unfortunately there is no way to recover the server. - is the same error in all modes, even temporarily. - shutdown-a is useless - chkdsk already done, but it did not do anything. Sadly I have no backup systemstate but if I had I have no way to recover it in 60 seconds.

I am new to Server 2008, I have been running Server NT4 believe it or not for the last 12 years but it was time to upgrade. I have 5 static IPs from Verizon on and actiontec FIOS router. I have set up NAT for 3 IPs and configured I think correctly in IIs and I have set up TCP/IPV4 specifying the local address 192.168.1.13 and in the router translating from external IP. I have set up the website and entered the local IP in the bindings for the site. From local machine when I hit the domain or the IP I get the router login. Obviously from outside I get a page not found. Not sure what I am missing anyone have any suggestions>

Hi, I have a little problem. I would know if i can save the option "Disconnect Remote Session", by default, when i finish my work session. It's very important for me when I work on remote host, so i can't inadvertently turn-off the remote pc, because at this moment, the default is "Turn off system". Thank's!

Hi We have a setup of 100 machines and 1 server in our organization. almost 95 machines are windows XP and other 5 are Win 7 laptops which the management uses. Windows server 2008 R2 acts as a domain controller for all these 100 machines. I have this problem that most of the policies in the GPOs do not support Windows XP, even the ones which support windows XP (like setting DNS entries, running logon scripts, setting desktop shortcuts, etc.) do not work at all. When i do RSOP.msc on the client machines it shows all the policies including any batch files lsisted in the GPO, however it doesnt run the batch file neither does it apply the DNS settings. (Please not…
