Hi All, This has been driving me potty, I'm trying to create a roaming profile for a user but for whatever reason I am unable to write to the network share. The user account has full privileges to the directory (I even made it so "Everyone" does) but not matter if I login through Windows 7 (as a Directory Server) or through another OS as a normal fileshare I can't write to the folder I'm running Server 2008 R2 Trial Edition (if this makes any difference) Kind regards James

Hi everyone, I am new to NAP and Windows 2008 security options. I have a small network of 20 PCs all joined to a Windows 2008 domain. Every so often, some clients visit our offices and connect via wireless to browse the Internet. At the moment, they get an IP from our Domain range and can view the domain shares (those visible to everyone like NetLogon). I would like to give out IPs from another range if the Laptop is not joined with the domain. Can this be done with NAP in Windows 2008? Kindly help. Thanks in advance

I was chatting one day to a member of my board, about Traffic and why we don't have much.. I know we have slow times, and our traffic for regulars is not all that bad. He suggested the Forum Board, should be set up to act like a Computer and not a Human.. Anyone know anything about this. How you'd go about settings, etc.

Over on IPB Webmaster, Mike posted this article : ************************ A common step taken by most forum admins is to select a domain name that will contain related keywords. This procedure will get you off on the right foot with the search engines. If you have a tennis forum, then having the word 'tennis' in the domain makes good sense. By the same token, having the word 'tennis' in the domain name of a forum about cooking is not the best selection. When you configure your IPB forum, you specify the name of your forum and by default, IPB will include that name in the title of all forum pages. Although your forum name also has related keywords, displaying …
