I'm a new user to this forum. I just wanted to say hello. I'm trying to find the best way to move to a Windows 2008 domain. Is it best to migrate to 2008 from 2003 or just create a whole new domain from scratch? If you have any ideas I would appreciate a reply. TxNupe

Hi Guys, After having community SEO installed to my board and with it now having no support, i am having some dramas with the sitemap generator not working correcting. This has resulted in loss of hits to my website. I would like to know if anyone on here would be able to guide me in the right direction with a alternative sitemap generator that can do indexs, forums, topics, gallery, downloads etc etc? I know that there are many free ones out there but they have alot of limitations as to what you can do. I am looking for something that will work with the new board version 3.1.x If anyone can help me with some info, that would be great.

We are running a Server 2008 R2 with SQL Server 2008 and IIS 7 installed. This has been running with no problems since March, last week it had 2 unexpected reboots, and so far this week 1 reboot. I've checked the EventLog, but not found any events before the reboot that relates to this. I've also had a check of a MEMORY.DMP file with WinDbg, but I didn't find a good reason there, this is my first time. It does mention PROCESS_NAME as ekrn.exe (NOD32). This is installed in version 4.0.132 on the server. Any ideas on what can be done? I've attached the result from WinDbg when opening the Memory.dmp file.

Hello all, we are upgrading our old terminal server 2003 to a new higher end server with terminal server 2008. We also will be upgrading the domain controller from SBS 2003 to 2008 shortly. I was advised to build a test environment for the terminal server which i did. I have got the server running and had tested it in my office with our local printers, We couldn't really get the easy print working 100% so just decided to find drivers for all the printers on the network and install them on the server. This seems to work fine. Yesterday i setup the 2008 terminal on the domain and give access for 2 or 3 people to test before i switch over 100%. This is wher…

Hi, I just got my server set up the way I would like to have it, except I am having one problem. When any clients come online they can not find the DNS server. I have AD, DHCP, IIS, and DNS installed. The computers work fine if I go and put in the DNS server (192.168.1.110) but I was thinking that there should be a way around that. Thanks, Aaron
