We are excited to announce that phpBB has been accepted as a mentoring organisation in Google Summer of Code (GSoC) 2012. Google's Summer of Code program encourages students to get involved in free and open source software (F/OSS) by pairing them up with experienced mentors in popular F/OSS projects. In addition to making valuable contributions to their host organisation, students gain experience working in a group environment and are further rewarded with a monetary stipend. I have the awrds system uploaded just haven't turned it on yet. Ranks are already set up for staff. Badges at present are default which came with the software. I haven't had much time to get this site going. I have big plans for it. I just need to build up some traffic and a userbase first. I am also thinking about broadening the scope of discussions. We''ll talk about this all soon.

Not yet. In time we'll have both. For now until the site gets active I'll wait on setting up a Twitter account and a Facebook page.
