  2. Nope. FTP hasn't changed sine Windows 2003. Still 6.0.
  3. I'm not sure how you would do it if it can be done at all. maybe someone else knows how to do it.
  4. Make sure you set the sscripts to run in 32 bit mode. There is a post here where someone had the same problem and turning 32 bit compatibility mode solved the problem.

  6. What are you doing when the crash occurs? What programs are you running and what services are running? Have you installed any new software that creates a service that is run by a scheduled task?
  7. Makes no difference. The time is calibrated with an online clack anyway so accuracy isn't an issue.
  8. No one will be able to connect to the server until some cals are clear. I moved this from the introductions forum. I know it is at the top and easy to just post in it, but, in the future find the best place to post.
  9. Did you put the allow relay to the server IP? Witout allowing realying from the server no email will be sent.

  12. You have to buy the domain name. Windows 2008 doesn't create domains. It serves the content.
  13. It's possible you didn't set up the network correctly when you installed. Do you have any connections setup?
  14. Is the nic showing in device manager? Maybe the correct drivers are not installed for the device.

  21. You will have to load the drivers for your controller before the install can install on the raid volume.
  22. Have you tried reburning the iso files to disk? It could be the result of a bad burn. There is one other thing could be wrong. Is this a scsi or sata dvd drive? If it is you'll have to load the drivers before that part of the install.

There is software that you can purchase and install on Windows Vista or Windows 7 however you really want to use a server os. Windows 2008 would be ideal and using the core would be best to save on resources.
