  1. Users cannot see certain information in IExplorer and Snapshot viewer. First problem: The users logon to a javascript based webmail site with IExplorer. For some mail they cannot see the content. When they use Firefox for the same site they can see the content!? As an administrator I can see the content in IExplorer. But If I give a user administrator rights they still cannot see the content. I allready shut off all the security options in IE I can think of. No result sofar. second problem: Users open Access reports with Snapshot Viewer from Microsoft. As an administrator I can see all the information in the report. But when users open the same report they are missing certain information. It looks like certain data fields are not shown. Also as I give a user administrator rights it still doesn't show all the information. Only the original administrator with original installation can see all information. I have a feeling two problems are related but I cannot find what's blokking it. Probably some security issue... Hope someone can tell me why. Been searching for weeks... Server: windows standard 2008 used with Terminal services. all users logon with RDP sessions. all local accounts.
  2. A new file server was installed with windows server 2008 standard with Office 2007. The old file server used to be server 2003 with Office 2003. All office files were moved to the new server. Its a Windows server 2008 standard SP1 with Office 2007 SP1. clients logon via Terminal Services. It happens a lot that the server freezes/hangs when different files are opened e.g. with Office 2007 of Irfanview or another program. First I thought Office was the problem but it also happens when .jpg files are opened. I spend many days troubleshooting this issue but I can't find the source of this problem. So I hope anybody has a smart suggestion!!!
