Try to change the preferred DNS server IPv4 to your local DNS server IPv4 for Windows 7 client at NIC setting. On DNS MMC, select DNS server name, right click>properties>forwader using your server IP adderess.

I have an original copy Windows 2008 Std(Volume) but unable to validate using KMS ,where need 5 server to activate.Then I try to using MAK to activate but Windows 2008 says cannot validate via online. I only have 1 server Dell PowerEdge2900. I became fade up on Windows 2008,hate Windows 2008. I better go back to Windows 2000 server-no problem to create Active Directory,DNS, and update the OS.Windows XP client could join the domain without problem. I hate what Microsoft done on new OS.They still want to monopoly the market in server and desktop by creating the problem to new user. I hope this forum could solve my problem on Windows 2008 server; I don't want to waste our money to invest in new OS.
