G'day Matt, Its a stanalone server, All accounts admin or otherwise connect perfectly on the local lan, but none form the outside world, the rdp client does not see the server at all, I keep thinking I have missed something that is different in r2, but have now re installed twice with the same problem Rgds G

G'day guys, I have just dine my first 2008 r2 install, all seems to be working fine ... But.. I can login fine from the local Lan, but it does not connect from a Wan RDP connection.. I have checked : Router port redirection ( worked with a different system on the same port) User groups remote user OK I am most confused as previous non r2 installs have been fault free Rgds G I
