  1. Hi everyone, I need to copy files over network between servers with O.S. win srv 2008. I need to do a cmd script so i'm looking for command line solution, also I need to autenticate to the destination server so the command should give the possibility to pass user and password through an option. I've already seen all windows commands but I didn't find nothing that can solve my problem. Another thing: I don't want to use ftp services or third part software. Anyone can help me please? Thanks Christian

  3. Goodmorning, In my company there is an infrestructure with vmware and virtual servers Win server 2008. There is a farm for remote applications, a print server, mail server, and of course 2 dns servers. Sometimes something strange happens. Clients cannot resolve server names, with command "ipconfig /registerdns" in almost all situations I can solve but this is a problem for me that I am the system administrator because this appens randomly. Clients lose the possibility to solve names while users work, so when they try to open a remote application an error sais that is impossible contact remote server. From client, the server is unreachable, with "registerdns" I solve problems but in a few cases I might change ip address. From server I don't find any error message, can be also that leaving client on, after 10, 15 minutes backs solve names, but if any has experience of interaction with users understands that I can't say to user "please wait 10 or 15 min and then retry". Seriously, I'd like solve this problem finding the cause. If someone has experience in problem like mine, please help me. Thanks Christian
