Because Windows Server is not Vista / 7... Anyway, the CALIBRATION program in XP / VISTA / 7 is auto installed when windows can find the correct program for that device. That means you must install it manually in Windows Server.

The point is that RAS assign an IP number before the connection is initiated. That means you should add exclusions in your DHCP server or better, assign a range. Now, when you set up DHCP server, it uses an interface that now is anymore there. You could try to remove the role and re-add with the new interface... maybe this could help.

Wait... this is correct... if you manage a RAID from "bios" (better, from your controller), you cannot let windows manage it after... so, if you create a raid from your controller, Windows must see ONE disk (in case of a raid 1). This is correct. Perhaps there's a GUI for your controller that can be installed on windows.
