Hello everyone, I have a Server with Windows Server 2008 R2. My computer uses windows xp, I've been trying to connect Remotely to my server and it keeps throwing the same error. The image is in spanish, it says that the client couldnt establish a connection with the remote computer, and the possible causes are: - Remote desktop is disabled - Maximun conexions exceeded - Network problem This error is only shown when using windows xp, when i connect using windows 7 or even vista, it has no problem. Ill appreciate your support on this matter, ive looked everywhere and i cant find a solution. Thanks!!

thanks for your response. i dont understand, i do have a static ip on my server. or do you mean the ip that my isp gave me?

hi everyone, im completely new using windows server 2008. this may be silly, but i really need help. we've been working on a web application, i need to make some connection tests with my server, but i dont know if my public ip is enabled, so that i can connect to my server. ive tried connecting via remote desktop but it keeps telling me that remote desktop is not enabled. my firewall is down, and i use FortiNet as my firewall. What should i do? thanks.
