I am trying to transfer network shares from the existing physical Win 2003 server to VM Windows 2008 server with robocopy utility. It is copying the files and folders without security permission even though I used /SEC switch. If I use the same command between two Physical with same OS, it is copying along with security permissions. Is there a any limitations between Windows server 2003 and 2008 or what could be the reason. Are there any other tools apart from robocopy to complete this task. Thanks Rosh
