I may consider adwords for my weather forum but do you think they could help drive traffic to my site? Any tips on how much I should start with and what sort of keywords I should focus on?

Thank you for the welcome folks! I grew up in a crop circle actually, Hurst, IL... the entire small 800 population one cop town had corn fields all around it, hence... it was a crop circle and I was just another part of the children of the corn :D
