Sheldon Posted June 18, 2016 Posted June 18, 2016 Anyone using it? Tried it? I love the concept behind it myself. I truly think and feel forums are dying, only hardcore users attempt to start anything with them. From what I've gathered, Flarum seems to lean more towards social media (which is definitely needed for forums). Your thoughts? Quote
GTB Posted June 18, 2016 Posted June 18, 2016 It looks OK, never tried it myself because of the server requirements needed. I agree it's different and leans more towards changing what forums are, to be a little more interactive for using. Not sure if it'll work or not, they all remind me of Vanilla forum, like the other two new ones looking same as Flarum copied it from Vanilla Quote
Forum² Admin AWS Posted June 18, 2016 Forum² Admin Posted June 18, 2016 I had a site on Discourse for a while. Only reason it's still not online is because I had it on an old server and it died. Since it wasn't a critical site I didn't try to revive it. I have looked at Flarum and I do like it. I think the time has come for forums to take the next step. I see that step as being Discourse or Flarum. 1 Quote IPB Webmaster - For Invision Community Enthusiasts - SEO Help Forum
