Sheldon Posted June 19, 2016 Posted June 19, 2016 Just a simple suggestion to not repeat the fails of other administrative suites I frequent. If you stay something, and plan on adding it, finish it before the next one. I know one site who has 17 half-finished projects going and it's confusing as to what the hell is going on. Just food for thought. I'd love to see this place become successful, and have an actual VIABLE admin site to visit for information. Quote
Forum² Admin AWS Posted June 19, 2016 Forum² Admin Posted June 19, 2016 My goal with this site is to make a viable resource. I am going to take baby steps one thing at a time approach like you suggest.I am working on a road map and once complete that is what I follow. It will be fluid so as something is complete something is added. I also listen to the users. That's always been my style. Quote IPB Webmaster - For Invision Community Enthusiasts - SEO Help Forum
Sheldon Posted June 19, 2016 Author Posted June 19, 2016 My style is "Iron First"!. Hehe. Good decision. No clue about a road map, I've never really made one or followed one. Quote
Ozzy47 Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 Yes, there is to many other sites that half ass things, and never finish any of it, makes for a piss poor member experience. This even applies more if your target audience is othr forum admins. If you can't finish stuff on your site, how can anyone take you seriously when your offering advice to fellow admins? Quote
