Speedy059 Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 This is very confusing to me...I would like to purchase Windows 2008 Standard edition to host websites off of but i'm not sure which to get? There are some you can get with multiple CAL's some with none... Which version is needed to have unlimited access for websites? Each website usually has it's own username and password for visitors to use within IIS. Any ideas which version is needed? Quote
Forum² Admin F2 Staff Posted August 14, 2008 Forum² Admin Posted August 14, 2008 Standard with 5 CALs will do it. If you only want to run wesites, no domain controller, then get the cheapest version. Quote
