MsConfig Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 Whenever we (administrators) reboot our Windows 2008 Server, we have to manually restart File Sharing. Is there anyway for that feature to remain "always on"? cheryl Quote
C-Prompt Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 It should remain on. Just make sure you have the permissions set correctly. Quote
MsConfig Posted December 9, 2008 Author Posted December 9, 2008 All very new at this. When we reboot, the logon defaults to Administrator and we have to go into Network and Sharing Center to turn on File Sharing under Sharing and Discovery. So what exactly would be the "correct permission settings" so that we needn't manually turn on File Sharing after any reboot? cheryl Quote
