itseddy Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 A new file server was installed with windows server 2008 standard with Office 2007. The old file server used to be server 2003 with Office 2003. All office files were moved to the new server. Its a Windows server 2008 standard SP1 with Office 2007 SP1. clients logon via Terminal Services. It happens a lot that the server freezes/hangs when different files are opened e.g. with Office 2007 of Irfanview or another program. First I thought Office was the problem but it also happens when .jpg files are opened. I spend many days troubleshooting this issue but I can't find the source of this problem. So I hope anybody has a smart suggestion!!! Quote
Forum² Admin F2 Staff Posted January 14, 2009 Forum² Admin Posted January 14, 2009 This could be caused by an unstable network connection. Does the same thing happen when you login directly to the servers? Quote
