local network only

Hey there,

I am loading up a new dell server, have license for 2008 enterprise x64.

Loaded up at office, using dhcp and only one nic. worked great.

 

Took to client site, hooked up both nics.

 

Windows shows local network only. cant get on internet, can join domain. cant update, or register.

 

i can map a drive to other server, i can ping inside network, but nothing outside.

other machines work fine just the new 2008 server not workin.

 

I have tried static ips and dhcp no change.

 

Microsoft knows its a problem .... The network connectivity status incorrectly appears as "Local only" on a Windows Server 2008-based or Windows Vista-based computer that has more than one network adapter but no solution.

 

Any help would be great, going crazy here. Got to get this machine online, old server is dying ...... please help.
