How Did You Get Started?

I was messing around learning HTML and one day I created a simple 3 page site. I then started to write up tutorials on what I learned and how I learned. I did the same thing when I was learning to code. People started to ask me questions in email. I decided to install phpBB so that the questions could be asked there. The forum became popular and as always happens someone came along and wanted to buy it. I sodl it and regret I did.

 

Anyway how did you get started in the forum biz?

I joined a Forum and while back I was an admin on a free hosting site called ZetaBoards i dont know if you ever herd of it. but i was getting annoyed of the owner he was really dictative always putting the staff down and calling us names. soooooo... i quit and i started my own forums and helping people and giving them chances on being staff on my forums and so far its been good but now i do not run a any forums right now at the moment or administrating any forums.
