Hi,

I have installed windows server 2008 (web edition) + service pack 2 on my PC, to replace windows XP in order to be able to use IIS 7.

Since then, I have a high CPU usage for almost all applications, particularly web browsers (especially with Flash apps running), Visual Studio, and Photoshop.

My PC has an Athlon XP 3000+, 3 Gb RAM. It's not a recent computer but these applications mentionned above were working flawlessly under windows XP.

Is there something I can do ?

Thanks

Hi,

Thanks for helping.

I've already done that, should have mentionned it.

The apps that are really using cpu are the ones I run, such as firefox, photoshop or visual studio. Could it be that Windows server 2008 doesn't handle my cpu very well or the other way around ?
