matt897 Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 My 2008 server acts as a gateway between the network and the internet. The modem is directly connected to the server and then the server distributes the internet to the LAN. Recently (although this will sound out of place) youtube.com stopepd loading. I figured it was just something local on my machine but have come to realize its on all the workstations and it needs to work. After doing alot of searching on the internet i've come to realize that this may be a DNS problem because when i log onto the server itself, youtube will load with NO problem. Why is it all of a sudden not working? PLEASE HELP ME! Quote
mmthomas Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 From a workstation, can you ping www.youtube.com? If not, is it unreachable or does it not resolve the IP address at all? If it resolves an address, is it the same address as your server resolves? Are the workstations configured to Obtain DNS server address automatically or are they set statically? Quote
