ASN Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 Hello, we try to set up a Win2008 R2 server. Only one physical machine. But we are unable to start the licenceserver and the terminalserver (RDS) on this machine. It seems that each server has to be on a extra (virtual) machine, but we do not want this. Is this a R2 bug or a feature? Quote
mmthomas Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 I think you may be having some other problem. RD Session Host and RD Licensing should both be able to run on the same physical server. You shouldn't need a virtual machine unless you are trying to run RDS Virtualization Host. This page shows instructions for installing RDS on a single server Windows 2008 RD installation. Quote
Briganca Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 How to enable multiple RDP sessions in windows 2008 server as Windows server 2003 as that.? If i connect Windows 2008 Server through RDP for full desktop, orginal session is getting logged off.. As they were three different sessions in windows 2003 server Quote
