Hello.

I have a problem with the remote printers.

I have a domain with about 60 workers with XP Pro SP2.

Recently i've installed a new server with Windows Server 2008 R2 and they can't "import" their local installed printers to the remote session. The printer drivers have already been installed in Windows Server 2008 R2.

Can anyone give me a hint to solve this?

Thank you!

Hi there,

On the server you go to printers and go to the properties of your printer.

There you go to ports en change the port to the PRN1: or PRN2 port that is available on the remote computer.

This will solve your problem.
