serverant Posted February 14, 2010 Posted February 14, 2010 Hi, I'm very new to Server2008 and quite a newbie in general: Previously when I powered up my computer GRUB would let me choose which OS to load, I have XP on one primary partition, and on a second primary partition I have logical partitions, one of which has Ubuntu. I installed Windows Server 2008 onto one of the logical partitions on my second primary partition. But after installing whenever I restart my computer GRUB is no longer there, and I can't choose to load my different OS's. There isn't an option in BIOS that helps. Every time my computer loads up server 2008. Is there a way to get GRUB back? Thanks in advance Martin Quote
Forum² Admin F2 Staff Posted February 14, 2010 Forum² Admin Posted February 14, 2010 Have you checked the advanced properties in computer manager? Check the boot settings. It's possible Windows 2008 just shut it off. There should be 2 options. One for Windows 2008 and one for grub. Quote
