Hi, I'm very new to Server2008 and quite a newbie in general:

Previously when I powered up my computer GRUB would let me choose which OS to load, I have XP on one primary partition, and on a second primary partition I have logical partitions, one of which has Ubuntu.

I installed Windows Server 2008 onto one of the logical partitions on my second primary partition. But after installing whenever I restart my computer GRUB is no longer there, and I can't choose to load my different OS's. There isn't an option in BIOS that helps. Every time my computer loads up server 2008.

Is there a way to get GRUB back?

Thanks in advance

Martin

Have you checked the advanced properties in computer manager? Check the boot settings. It's possible Windows 2008 just shut it off. There should be 2 options. One for Windows 2008 and one for grub.
