pow Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 I've repartitioned my C drive which is the home of SBS 2008. I should have done this at setup but forgot about it. Now I used to have C and D drive, after partitioning I have C,D,E and G (the former D). Now when I create a file on the C or G drive the folder gets (in the security tab) the following permissions: - Authenticated users - SYSTEM - Administrators - Users This seems to be the default and just fine. Now when I create a file on D or E (the partitions created using partitioning software) I get: - Everyone I guess something is not setup right after partitioning and the files for some reason don't get the default security settings. Is there a way to fix this? Both new partitions are still empty. I'm planning on moving Exchange and user date to either later on. Regards Quote
pow Posted July 1, 2010 Author Posted July 1, 2010 Solved: needed to format the partition from within SBS and now all the settings are correct Quote
