ProjectHelp Posted August 23, 2010 Posted August 23, 2010 We are running a Server 2008 R2 with SQL Server 2008 and IIS 7 installed. This has been running with no problems since March, last week it had 2 unexpected reboots, and so far this week 1 reboot. I've checked the EventLog, but not found any events before the reboot that relates to this. I've also had a check of a MEMORY.DMP file with WinDbg, but I didn't find a good reason there, this is my first time. It does mention PROCESS_NAME as ekrn.exe (NOD32). This is installed in version 4.0.132 on the server. Any ideas on what can be done? I've attached the result from WinDbg when opening the Memory.dmp file. Quote
mmthomas Posted August 23, 2010 Posted August 23, 2010 You don't say what server hardware you are using. There were some HP Proliants where the iLO was causing reboots. If you have one, see HP document c01802766. Quote
