brownnupe1 Posted August 25, 2010 Posted August 25, 2010 Is it better to migrate from a 2003 domain to a 2008 domain using migration or by creating a whole new domain? Also have an Exchange 2003 server that I want to move to 2008. Getting ready to move to virtual and want new server OS. Quote
elmagoal Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 The migration would be the easier way to do the sawp. You should be able to just add the new VM servers with windows 2008 on to your 2003 domain. That includes the new exchange 2007 or 2010. Then, migrate the FSMO rolls out of the 2003 servers into the 2008 and migrate the mailboxes as well into the new exchange. Quote
