Setting Up Vpn

Hello, the search isn't seeming to work for me so I can't tell if theres already a topic like this, but owell.

 

I have server 2008 r2 and 2 books I bought for the os, and both of them have failed to explain vpn very well, and the internet help I've tryed isn't working all to well. I'm not sure if its the network policy server or what. I'm using my laptop teather to a droid phone trying to vpn into the system. I have got to the verfiy username and password but it just disconnects.

 

 

Does anyone know of a really good step by step guide to settting this up?

It sounds like you successfully have it listening for vpn connections. Did you set the user account to allow network access in the Dial-in tab of ADUC?
