Hi

I am new to the Forum and this is my first post, I run a domain and have recently upgraded from Windows 2000 Server to Windows 2008 R2 Server, some of my users who have been migrated connot see any of the installed programs on local PC's when they login to PC's on the domain,

I can display links to installed applications using a Desktop configuration on the Server, but when these users use Start and Programs none of the installed applications list is displayed, other users can display the list!

How do I correct the error or what file/files are missing?

Hi and welcome.

Can you confirm that this policy is not activated?

start > run > gpedit.msc > User config > Administrative template > start menu and taskbar > REMOVE ALL PROGRAMS LIST FROM START MENU.

Additionally, can you post a print screen for this problem? Thanks.
