Hi

I have a issue with Windows 2008 R2 server. We installed it, but now the thing is, I can remote desktop into the system with Administrator and all is fine. I created a user on the system, but when I log in with this user, the server dissapears, and I can no longer ping it. What I have to do then is go to the machine, ctrl + alt + del, log in with Administrator, and then connect again to the internet.

Is there a way I can keep this from happening? I am not even sure what is causing it to disconnect from the network.

Any help would be greately appreciated.

Thanks

Hi,

Can you be more precise?

You are trying to connect via INTERNET or LAN?

If you login via the console as "user", do you have the same problem?

Is there anything in Event Viewer?

Cheers

Hi

I am trying to remote in via internet. I log in with Admin fine, when I log in with any other user, it disconnects the internet.

It looks like admin gets logged out, and with it closing the network connections.

Thats about as much as I know.

Thanks

Did you enabled the TERMINAL SERVICES role?

It will ask to specify a valid license server. Add the license server to another machine also without adding licenses because it works without problem!

Let me know.
