kfisher Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 Hello all, I currently have a windows server 2003 with printer and file server role. The server has three drives: disk 0, disk 1 and disk 2. When I try to run the windows 2008 setup I received a installation error. When I researched the error it said it was due to a disk mirror setup. I removed the mirror. It seems disk 1 is the main drive and drive 0 is the spare drive. When I run the setup again it says this computer does not have enough space for temporary files. Windows installation needs at least 464 mg of space on any partition. When I researched that error it said I need to make a partion active. The only active partition is the DVD drive. I'm in computer management and when I right click the disk 1 or disk 0 it doesn't give me that option. I even do in disk managment through the command prompt and I can't list any partion. Any help would be great. I'm thinking of backing up the data and just to do a fresh install if I can't figure it out. Quote
Forum² Admin F2 Staff Posted July 25, 2011 Forum² Admin Posted July 25, 2011 You'll have to use computer management console to make a partition active to install to. Quote
