I have a server Machine (Win 2008 Ent Version) acting as NAT server.The WAN gate has Public IP. two Issues i need to Resolve: 1- I cannot Access Remote Desktop.\ 2- How i can Port forward from Win 2008 server As i have a DVR Installed on my LAN. There is no Firewall even disabled the Windows Firewall but no use. Thanks Quote
ICTCity Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 Hi, 1) right click COMPUTER > properties > remote settings and then enable the remote desktop. 2) Your server or router must forward the connection. If you turn your server in a router, it's easy, right click the router role and select a new static route. iphonogasm Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 i beleive port forwariding is done in windows firewall, create a new incomming rule. i could never get it working though. and for me, setting up a static route didnt let me specify a port. Quote
