Hello, i installed File Server Resource Manager and Add a Quota on a folder on server where users have their home folders (connected as network drive)

so for example

C:\usersdata

C:\usersdata\user1

C:\usersdata\user2

and if user1 connect to Domain he has C:\usersdata\user1 on server connected as Z:\ (\\server.domain.tld\usersdata\user1)

so i set smtp and send test email to administrator@domain.tld and thats works, email come.

than as administrator i add to C:\usersdata\user1 some data which exceed 85% quota limit and email send to me 'user DOMAIN\Administrator has exceeded 85% quota limit... and so on' so thats great too..

but i deleted that files and add new files as user1 but no email was sended and if i add new files as administrator so email wasnt sended too..

maybe i dont get how it works but i want to set limit with email notification for all users for example

if i set 50MB and user1 save 45MB and user2 save 48MB i want from FSRM to send me 2mail notifications about it.. and if user1 delete his files and add new so new email was sent to me.. but i dont know how to do it or what are best practise..

i hope its understandable, thank you for your answers :_)

ok, now i know if i delete files i have to 'reset peak usage' for receiving new emails.. but is possible quota limit set per user but not all users together how i describe on first post ?

I don't think you can do that...

I figure it out, problem was i created new quota on path and that didnt involve subfolders, but if i choose template.. quota is automatically setted on subfolders and as bonus i can change template for all subfolders back.. nice :-) thank you :-)
