Hi,

I have Windows 2008 server and want to access it through RDP. So I have enabled RDP in all the ways as described below,

1. Enable Remote Desktop on My Computer >> Properties >> Remote Settings >> Enabled RDP in less secure.

2. Enabled Remote Desktop connection in Fireall Exception list.

3. Also have tried adding rule for this in friewall.

4. Also have made changes on HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Server >> fDenyTSConnections this value to 0.

5. Verified RDP services are running are on services.msc

But still I am unable to access the server via RDP.

Can anyone please let me know how to enable RDP in any other way?

Thanks.

Can you please tell us what's the error message?

Basically only the administrator can login via RDP.

Hi,

I am the Administrator of this server. I couldn't track RDP logs in my server since I am not familiar in Windows logs. Once I have enalbed all those options in my prevoius content and trying to access it from another machine.

Yeah, I know... but when you login FROM ANOTHER MACHINE, what's the error? Does it prompt for User/Password?
