Hi Guys,

Just wondered if someone could please help point me in the right direction

This is our current setup

We have 2 sites with 2x Server 2008R2 using DFS replication

SRV1 site using 192.168.0.0/24 head office

SRV2 site using 192.168.1.0/24 - remote office

Both sites joined via IPSec Tunnel via the router and everything working as it should, sites and services setup correctly on DC

Now here is the problem we are facing, there are a couple of users that use our terminal server through RDP at our remote office as we are running a large case management system, but when they are not using the case management system and they just want to open word and go to a mapped drive, its then directing them back to server sitting at the remote office which is the correct procedure but dont know how to correct it?

So basically

User1 sits at her desk over in the remote office 192.168.1.0/24 and connects via RDP to our terminal server over in the head office on 192.168.0.0/24 but if she then opens a mapped drive on word it defaults them her back to the remote office on 192.168.1.0/24 rather than staying on 192.168.0.0/24 DFS Share

I am fully aware that its performing as it should and its right to point them to that DFS share but just dont know how to stop this happing if they are using terminal server

Any help or pointers would be really helpful, and sorry to waffle :wallbash:
