hi, i am trying to setup a network printer using a TCP/IP port, and share the printer via the server. However the printer keeps going offline. Disabling SNMP has no effect, the printer shows ready but still brings up a print error.

When doing a network search for the printer via the server, it finds the printer (MFC-7360N) and the WebServices printer. However after adding the printer and leaving from 10 minutes to 1 day, the printer goes offline. I cannot perform another network printer scan unless restarting as i receive the following error

"Windows could not start the TCP/IP printer part of this search because another TCP/IP search is already running. To run the TCP/IP ppart of this search wait until other printer searches have finished and try again"

this is fixed with a reboot, and i have no other searches running at the time. Ive tried to restart TCP/IP print and print spooler services. No luck

This doesnt happen from any client PCs. All client PCs can install the printer via a search, and all works fine.

Thnaks for any help!
