ICTCity Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 You can deploy software via Group Policy, but you need a MSI package. If you have a large environment, I suggest you to use this software: http://www.bmc.com/products/product-listing/bladelogic-client-automation.html Quote -------------------------------------------------------- Tu peux aussi crire en franais. Byocky Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 If the environment is small how is this achieved, say for 5 workstations. Also, I have installed some software, however it is only availed for the used I installed it on, how can I easily make this accessable to all users, without having to install for each account. ICTCity Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 As said you need an MSI package... the problem is that you don't have the msi package for each program... that means you must create it yourself... but trust me, if you create an MSI package for each program... you will not gain time, that's sure. Programs like Office are ready with MSI package, but others not. http://www.advancedinstaller.com/user-guide/tutorial-gpo.html Quote -------------------------------------------------------- Tu peux aussi crire en franais.
