ratherbeflying Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 Having a weird issue that I'm seeing with two servers now. For some reason they will lose their statically assigned IP addresses and pick up an address from DHCP. Local area connection properties shows obtain automatically. You can set the static again and ipconfig shows the static address, however going back and checking properties again on the connection shows it set to automatically obtain and if you reboot they will once again get their address from DHCP. I will also add that drivers have been updated on both machines. Quote
luckied Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 Have you tried disabling the DHCP client service in services.msc and seeing if that makes a difference? If not, try another NIC? Quote
