your computer could not be joined to the domain because the following error has occured,access denied,

this error is happening when i create users for active directory users and computers in windows server 2003,i have 11 computers ,,1 server and 10 clients,,i created 10 users in active directory users and computers ,,until here i have no problem,,but when i want join client computers with server it is happening this error(your computer could not be joined to the domain because the following error has occurred,access denied)

i can join 3 client computer with the server in fourth computer it happening that error,,please what can i do?

check 2 things:

 

1) time sync, WS must be synced with DC's clock.

2) Enable the SMB signing on WS side

1) the Workstation's clock must be the same of the domain controller, so set the policy to sync your WS to your DC.

 

2) there's a policy which says REQUIRE SMB SIGNATURE, you must enable it on the client side.

Check on your server and on your clients these settings:

 

HKLM\system\currentcontrolset\services\lanmanserver\parameters

HKLM\system\currentcontrolset\services\lanmanworkstation\parameters

 

Requiresecuitysignature

Enablesecuritysignature

 

 

If the server requires the signature, enable it on WS.

 

If you are not sure, post the server's values and WS's values.
