Accessing DVR

Am able to access my DVR from other networks(Internet) but not able to access it from my office internet,It seems there are some restrictions,Is there Any solution for this,

what i have

 

Static Ip on CCTV DVR

 

Windows Xp in my office

there is no error just not connecting,not able to ping my Static Ip adress from my office network,they say it is due to the restrictions from main server

Unless you configure your fw or remove the restriction you can't access your dvr

I can't help you, as said if you have q policy that prevents this you can do nothing!

but there should b Some Software to bypass firewall or anything similar to that :(

Ad said you can violate your network but it takes hours to analyze the network and so on. I can't help you.

Brother i have another pc out of my office which is in VPN with my Server(office),and that pc(outside office ) is able to Access that DVR, is it possible for me to Access that DVR via that pc ??

why dont you just ask your enterprise administrator to create a private exception for the port you require?

 

If you can access it remotely via your home PC, and have an active VPN connection to your home PC from the office PC, route all traffic through the VPN and connect to it that way. This is ofcoure if the network firewall instant blocking outbound VPN tunneling again!

 

I guess at the end of the day, if they dont want you accessing this DVR, you wont have much luck!! They have alot more control then you lol...
