Forum² Staff Shawn Posted October 4 Forum² Staff Posted October 4 For those of you who use vBulletin, what would you like them to add to it? What features would make vBulletin even better out of the box? Quote My forums: Another Admin Forum | vBAdmins Forum | Off Topic Forum | The Hiking Forum

I almost wonder if separating the articles, blogs, groups as official addons would be better? They could lower the price of the forum. I say that with a reason. You could disable all the extra stuff if you wanted to right? But those files are still there and code is still calling it right? Even if the return it saying "Hey I'm disabled for now" but there is still bloat in the package on your server. Any thoughts on that? Forum² Admin AWS Posted October 4 Forum² Admin Posted October 4 If a feature is disabled there is no strain extra strain on the server. Files are there, but, you could remove them. In IPB there is an option when you disable the module to remove it. I think vbulletin is the same. They don't load. I was always in favor of everything included with no addons. It works seemlessy and built by the main devs. 1 Quote IPB Webmaster - For Invision Community Enthusiasts - SEO Help Forum

I do believe that was my reasoning. I guess I'm so used to not having an all-in-one platform that I got used to not having it, LOL. It'll grow on me. I'm using all the services, anyways. 1 Quote My forums: Another Admin Forum | vBAdmins Forum | Off Topic Forum | The Hiking Forum
