Forum² Staff Shawn Posted October 13 Forum² Staff Posted October 13 What's your forum software? If it was discontinued today and you were forced to move platforms, which would you move to? How easy would it be to transfer? Quote My forums: Another Admin Forum | vBAdmins Forum | Off Topic Forum | The Hiking Forum
Cedric Posted October 14 Posted October 14 I'm on XenForo. I'd go with Invision Community, especially the v5. We'd lose some functionality that we'd need to reinvent. Both my forums have some custom development done to it. Quote
Forum² Admin AWS Posted October 14 Forum² Admin Posted October 14 Invision all the way. In fact depending on what v5 looks and feels like I might migrate some of the sites. I am a legacy customer so renewal prices are pretty good. Even if they're only good for 6 months. I activated 1 license already to see how it would do while importing a large amount of data. Came through without a hitch. 1 Quote IPB Webmaster - For Invision Community Enthusiasts - SEO Help Forum

I do have to get used to it, though. I'm used to that forum structure with categories and boards haha 1 Quote My forums: Another Admin Forum | vBAdmins Forum | Off Topic Forum | The Hiking Forum

Click that to change to forum view. 1 Quote IPB Webmaster - For Invision Community Enthusiasts - SEO Help Forum

Debashis Posted November 13 Posted November 13 I think currently Invision is the only forum software that can provide equal or better user experience than what Xenforo does. Quote

Offers much more. Almost too much. I turned off a lot of it. Can be overwhelming to users. Quote IPB Webmaster - For Invision Community Enthusiasts - SEO Help Forum
